The kinds of projects we do
- Server replacements. For example, replacing a Small Business Server 2008 after a RAID failure with Windows Server 2025, moving the shared files to the cloud and reconnecting the accounting server.
- Cloud migrations. File servers into SharePoint and OneDrive, email into Microsoft 365.
- Firm mergers. Combining several law practices into one Microsoft 365 tenant with their mail, files and accounts intact.
- Closing or downsizing a practice. Moving a retiring partner to home support and shutting down accounts, licences and equipment in order.
- Office moves and network merges. Joining two offices' networks over new cabling while keeping camera and device addresses unchanged.
- Large data moves. Multi-terabyte migrations planned around a deadline.
- New computers. Laptops set up, enrolled in monitoring and backup, and handed to staff ready to work.
How projects are priced
Every project gets an itemized proposal: hardware and software at their listed prices, and labour as estimated hours at your rate. You sign it before work starts. Remote work is billed in quarter-hour increments, and onsite visits have a one-hour minimum. Hardware prices and availability can change, and quotes may not include tax or shipping.
